MTI – Corporate Overview

Modified Technologies started in 1990 as a tool shop in a pole barn in Romeo, Michigan. Initially growth was so fast that in 1991 the company moved to a 3000 square foot facility, also in Romeo. Again, growth was swift, and at the end of its initial lease in 1995, the company once again moved to a much larger 16,000 square foot facility where it remained until 2001.

In April 1998, Modified was purchased by Charlie Russell and his four daughters, with experience in the metal stamping industry. The new owners moved the business to a newly constructed 48,000 square foot building located in Fair Haven, Michigan. Since that time, MTI has focused on utilizing the most current and efficient technologies and methods for design, tool build, prototype and production of metal stampings.
