Modified Technologies, Inc. is part of the PTM Corporation family of businesses, starting in 1990 as a tool shop in a pole barn in Romeo, Michigan. Initially growth was so fast that in 1991 the company moved to a small 3,000 square foot facility, also in Romeo. Again, growth was swift and at the end of its initial lease in 1995, the company once again moved to a much larger (16,000 square foot) facility in Romeo where it remained until 2001.

In April 1998, Modified Technologies was purchased by Charles Russell, owner of PTM Corporation, a privately held metal stamping company located on 75 acres in Fair Haven, Michigan.

After being acquired by PTM Corporation, plans were made to relocate Modified Technologies to the campus site on Bethuy Road in Fair Haven. In 2001, Modified Technologies was then relocated into its newly constructed 48,000 square foot facility.

Since that time, Modified Technologies has focused on utilizing the most current and efficient technologies in the design and build of production tooling for stamping presses and four slide machines.
